1. I can't wait for Top Gear live, which I am going to see in 14 hours and 2 minutes at the time of typing this (8:58pm). I have $200 just for merch.... god i hope they have bags
2. I may, kinda, possibly have a crush on James May. Kinda. eep.
3. I have been a revhead for years and embarassed Alfa Romeo majorly when I was 7 by calling their cars "lemons" on 7 news.
4. My favourite bands/atrists are the White Stripes, The Raconteurs and Brendan Benson. Howver, I have about 50 different artsit on my iPod, so my musical tastes are pretty diverse now.
5. Art really isn't my thing. I am on here to lurk and chat with friends generally.
6. I am a big coffee and tea drinker, both of which I am very particular about. I also love coke, and will sometimes drink in excess of 2 litres a day (normally when I have a long shift at work)
7. I am not afraid to admit that I cried when Michael and Mia broke up in the Proncess Diaries, and tht I ran around squealing for half an hour when I read the ending. I also hated JP
8. I love my family, my close friends, my cat and my car. I couldn't live with out any of them now

DUCATI:
Dad got a Monster 696 today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So brilliant, I went for a ride on the back, could barely hold on (no real handhold on the back) and felt like I was going to slip off, but it was FUCKING SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!!! The footpegs are in the perfect position for me, despite what my mother thought ("your legs aren't going to fit in that area!")


SNOWY:
Sadly though, on the 30/31 st December 2008 (we don't know which day), our second (and last) guinea pig Snowdrop died. She was about 10 years old, which is remarkable for a guinea pig (Duchess was about 8 when she passed away). She had been in a fair bit of pain before she died (her back legs basically became fused fully extended and she had to use her front legs to drag herself around), so her death wasn't unexpected. I was the one who found her though, and even thtough I wish that I adn't sometimes, I'm also a bit glad. I helped nurse her in her final weeeks and months, so it was a bit of closure for me to help her for the last time.
Fuck, I'm crying now.
It made me remember how much I loved them both (Snowy and Duchess) and how they were like my babies. I got a mint plant which I'm going to plant and take care of for them, as they loved mint a lot. They both have their own trees too, Snowy's is a jacaranda and Duchess' a red frangipani.

XMAS:
Pretty good, except I got really sick (flu-like symptoms). Got an iPod touch and a heap of other stuff, including the By Any Means book and DVD tickets to Top Gear Live and chocolate galore. Got seat covers from my aunt too... awesome.

on other news, got so much schoolowrk to do i haven't bothered with yet, have to go to work early tomorrow and do a shitty shift theis and next wednesday, but otherwise all good.

And anybody who is wondering, I've been a massive fan of cars and motorbikes since I was 3, when I saw my first speedway race and demolition derby. My parents getting bikes and me getting a car have reignited it for me

Just a quick update, I have heaps of work to do.
Well, I got my P's (which allow me to drive unsupervised), and I have my own car, so no more hour-long bus rides for me!

I am in my final year of high school officially, and the assignments and exams are piling up!!!!! I have one exam or test a week every week until this term ends (still 5 weeks to go). Eugh.

But anyways, having my P's has helped me rekindle my love of cars and bikes, which is good. I still like the Raconteurs, The White Stripes and the like, as well as Top Gear UK (hate the Aussie version with a passion)

In case anybody hasn't heard, they are closing 61 Starbucks stores throughout Australia, including my local one (and my backups!!!)

Now, i know there are worse things (like global crisis and getting hit over the head with books), but Starbucks was special to me. I will always remeber the thrill of riding up to it on my dad's motorbike and getting off, having people stare at me in my bike jacket, sitting with my parents and having a nice converstaion- a bonging moment so sadly lacking in my life. I will remember when I went there in Victoria and met my boyfriend there, finally chatting face to face over our common weakness, the humble Starbucks latte. I will remember the stress of life being lifted off my shoulder for a short, but sweet time by a shot of that heavenly caffiene...
Why can't I write like this normally????
